We are seeking a skilled Optical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Lens & Frames Optical Inc. As an Optical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and dismantling equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and performing general clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and dismantle equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Clean and maintain equipment to prevent damage and ensure accuracy
- Collect statistics and maintain records of equipment usage and maintenance
- Maintain supplies and inventory of equipment to ensure seamless operations
- Perform general clerical duties, including ordering supplies and equipment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an optical retail store or ophthalmic or optical laboratory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
Our team works in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. We require our Optical Laboratory Technician to be accurate, efficient, and organized, with a strong attention to detail.
