Drug Manufacturing Operator

As a Drug Manufacturing Operator at Pharmascience, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in human health by working on the production of high-quality drugs.
The estimated salary for this role is around $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, our employees enjoy a range of benefits including night shift premium, in-house referral program, and gain sharing program based on team and individual performance.
About the RoleThis position involves working with specialized equipment to transform raw materials into various drugs in bulk form. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and be able to work independently with autonomy.
Key responsibilities include ensuring cleanliness of the work area and equipment, disassembling and assembling manufacturing equipment, and documenting and verifying cleaning deadlines. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling drums and containers of raw materials and/or products using rolling equipment and/or forklifts, performing compression according to established procedures, and checking identification of raw materials and various products.
Working Conditions and Physical EnvironmentThis role requires physical stamina, as you will need to handle loads up to 80 kg and move heavy and bulky equipment in tight spaces safely with the help of coworkers. You will also need to wear individual protection equipment according to defined safety codes.
Requirements and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have good mechanical skills and a strong understanding of GMP principles. Teamwork, autonomy, and good physical condition are also essential qualities for this position.
