Project Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Liaison Manager to join our team at Parsons Oman. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating with utility service providers in support of the delivery of our projects.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of all utilities-related works across the program teams, ensuring their interdependencies are incorporated.
  • Support negotiation, reporting, and contract processes with utility companies, local authorities, and other relevant project partners through working in close conjunction with the program teams.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and concerns promptly and effectively.

You will work closely with our program teams to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of overall experience.
  • Chartered engineer (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • The ability to carry out robust independent checks on a wide variety of designs and produce, interpret, and assess specifications, standards, and technical reports.
  • The ability to resolve complex design problems and demonstrate a tenacious approach to tackling problems while maintaining attention to detail.

You will also need to have strong written and spoken communication skills, as well as excellent influencing and interpersonal skills.
