Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all health and safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas.
  • Responsible for food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or Safe Quality Food requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, providing measurable improvements and enhancements.
  • Plan and perform complex corrective and preventative maintenance requiring a thorough knowledge of mechanical theories and principles.
  • Master the basics of the CMMS system utilized at the plant (i.e. SAP-PM) and become knowledgeable with system reporting and work order systems and methods.

Requirements:

  • Interprovincial Journeyman License
  • Millwright or (Dual Ticket – Electrician/Millwright an asset)
  • Power Engineer Certificate
  • 5 years production/line machine maintenance experience
  • Line maintenance within a food and beverage production environment preferred
