Join Our Team as an Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Destination Auto Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing purchase orders and invoices, ensuring credit accounts are up-to-date, and interacting with clients to resolve payment issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile and post daily cash, credit card, and cheque payments
  • Identify and collect slow-paying or delinquent accounts
  • Assist with other duties related to Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable role
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable and receivable principles
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
