Cleaner - Floor Maintenance Specialist

B.M.S IT solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Cleaner - Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy space.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to ensure they are returned to their rightful owners.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Housekeeping: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls and ceilings to ensure a clean and sparkling environment.

Requirements:

  • Criminal Record Check: A criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads and work under pressure.
  • Team Player: The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.

Work Conditions:

  • Permanent: This is a permanent position.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
