Canna Cabana Sales Associate/Delivery Driver Job Description

Canna Cabana is seeking a reliable and skilled Sales Associate/Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Sales Associate/Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering Canna Cabana orders to customers in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and discuss their cannabis needs, ensuring a positive and informative experience.
  • Take orders from customers and prepare products for purchase, maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Deliver cannabis and cannabis accessories products to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner, utilizing Pineapple Express route management application.
  • Communicate customer requests and/or problems to a Retail Store Manager when necessary.
  • Verify invoices and purchase requests for accuracy, ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Confirm delivery details with customers and verify their identity before making delivery, adhering to provincial and federal regulations.
  • Maintain logs such as sale and delivery records, working hours, vehicle service, and repair logs, following applicable regulations.
  • Inspect delivery vehicles and ensure the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
  • Participate in merchandising and promotional activities for accessories, maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards, participating in all manner of store maintenance.
  • Assist with display of merchandise and inventory management, ensuring accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures.
  • Work in partnership with management and other employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence.
  • Answer external and internal phone calls, transferring calls to the appropriate person or Store Manager as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security regulations, meeting required standards.
  • Prepare sales and accept cash, credit card, or automatic debit payment, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Requirements:
  • CannSell License and a clean police background check are mandatory in Ontario.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with good knowledge of cannabis products and strains.
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving skills are required, with a defensive driving course as an asset.
  • A copy of a current clean driving abstract with no violations in the last three years is required.
  • Proof of vehicle insurance coverage for work purposes and registration on the driver's name is necessary.
  • Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes is essential.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance is required.
  • A working smartphone with a data plan and charger is necessary.
  • Two years of experience in retail sales with proven sales ability and the capability to meet and surpass targets and goals is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret customer needs, offering appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions, and promoting products and persuading customers.
  • Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques is required.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are necessary.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, with a professional and mature demeanor under stressful situations.
  • High flexibility, strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, and a high level of integrity and work ethic are essential.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, are required.
  • Strong time management and customer service skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, task prioritization, multi-tasking, and use of timelines and time management techniques are required.
