Job Summary:

GFL Environmental is seeking a skilled AZ Line Haul Driver to support our Solid Waste line of business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting solid waste from transfer stations to various landfills, ensuring the safe operation and public safety of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily runs to Michigan and transport solid waste from transfer stations to landfills.
  • Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues and safety risks.
  • Document and log driving and break periods in accordance with DOT and MTO regulations.
  • Comply with applicable legislation, including Hours of Service, occupational health and safety, customs, and immigration.
  • Drive for approximately 600-1100 km a day with 10-14 hour runs.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of related AZ driving experience.
  • Valid AZ License.
  • Ability to cross the US border daily.
  • Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
  • High level of personal integrity and strong work ethic.
