Job Description:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Performance Testing Expert, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements. You will design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications. Your responsibilities will include executing manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure functionality, conducting performance testing, stress testing, and regression testing as needed, collaborating with developers to troubleshoot and resolve software issues, reporting and documenting defects, test results, and testing progress, and staying updated on industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect reporting.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java).
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of different types of testing (e.g., functional, integration, performance).
