About the Role

This position will serve as a technical consultant to both internal and external customers, providing expertise in electrical engineering, product applications, and sales support. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to drive technical sales and provide solutions to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the sales team and customers, including product and application expertise.
  • Assist the sales team with technical support in the completion of RFP/RFQ bids.
  • Develop and present product presentations to internal and external customers.
  • Guide customers in product specification and selection.
  • Suggest innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Develop sales strategies to drive company growth.
  • Track and maintain records of account activity.
  • Monitor market conditions and trends.
Qualifications
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Industry knowledge and experience in wire and cable products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CSA Codes and Standards.
  • Minimum 5+ years of related experience, preferably in a sales or technical support role.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction).
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
