Job Summary:

Drake International is seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating your workforce, equipment, materials, and trade contractors to achieve targeted profit and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage and coordinate your workforce, equipment, materials, and trade contractors to attain targeted profit and schedule.
  • Manage cost control during construction.
  • Implement Quality Control Programs.
  • Work closely with project managers, project coordinators, owners, consultants, inspectors, and trade contractors.
  • Proactively identify, address, and resolve issues and problems as or before they occur.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent.
  • Completion of post-secondary studies in construction, building technology, engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
  • National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) Certification and Journeyman Carpenter ticket are preferred.
  • Experienced in managing projects in excess of $15 million.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Projects.
  • Valid and clean driver's license, with a willingness to travel to various sites.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and be respectful of diversity.
