Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Ontario Inc.
Company Overview:Ontario Inc. is a reputable transportation company committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring the safe delivery of goods across North America.
Salary:The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 CAD, based on experience and location.
Job Responsibilities:- Drive safely: Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Load and unload cargo: Ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods at various locations.
- Maintain vehicle condition: Regularly inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo details, and maintain accurate logs.
- Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
- Documentation knowledge: Familiarity with accident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance records, and trip reports.
- Communication systems experience: Proficiency in operating GPS navigation equipment.
- Physical demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), work in physically demanding environments, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Work conditions: Willingness to travel internationally, overnight, and for extended periods.
