- This is a permanent position offering 35-40 hours of work per week.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test web applications using various programming languages and technologies.
- Maintain existing web applications by making modifications as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Source, select, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of web applications.
- Create and optimize content for web applications using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software.
- Lead and co-coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop web applications, graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity.
- Research and evaluate a variety of software products to ensure they meet our requirements.
- Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in web development.
- Strong understanding of web development frameworks, databases, and operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Reader, Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Website creation and management software, Web service design, Adobe Dreamweaver, MS Office, and WordPress.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
Language:
This is an English-speaking role, and proficiency in English is essential.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position working 35-40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
