About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Milling Machine Operator to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our Road Construction Team, you will be responsible for operating milling equipment to prepare road surfaces for paving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate milling equipment to mill asphalt and concrete to desired specifications.
  • Control and maneuver milling equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing on milling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with construction crews to achieve measurable production goals.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and potential exposure to dust, dirt, and loud noises.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience operating milling equipment and related asphalt and road construction techniques.
  • Thorough understanding of paving industry principles, including preparatory work, grades, drainage, and paving patterns.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights as required.
