Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Wosler Diagnostics Crowsnest Pass Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record high-quality images, performing minor repairs and adjustments to equipment, and monitoring examinations to evaluate image quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record high-quality images
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
  • Monitor examinations to evaluate image quality and consistency
  • Record, store, and process scanned images using camera units connected to ultrasound equipment
  • Provide personal assistance to patients during treatments
  • Prepare examination reports for physicians
  • Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation
Requirements:
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Certification
  • Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Registration
  • Abdominal sonography, obstetrical and gynecological sonography, and peripheral vascular sonography experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, willing to relocate, and work 30 hours per week.
