Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Strescon Limited. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our finished concrete products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify that concrete products meet quality standards set by the Company, PCI, or CPCI
  • Represent the company in a professional manner when dealing with internal and external customers
  • Measure and verify materials and sizes of fabricated components against detailed drawings
  • Assist in achieving departmental goals within targeted budgets
  • Monitor the concrete manufacturing process and test physical properties and aesthetic quality of concrete
  • Implement corrective actions as needed, in consultation with Project management, Engineering, and/or QC Manager
  • Communicate effectively with staff and management
  • Proactively suggest improvements to current processes

Requirements

  • Minimum two-year Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent experience in a Quality Control position
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/shop drawings
  • Willingness to pursue PCI certification
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
