About the Role:

As a Senior Quality Governance Specialist at Irving Shipbuilding, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a functional governance framework that ensures high-quality products and compliance with ISO 9001:2015.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain tools, processes, and resources to support the governance framework
  • Govern quality of function's documentation and application of ISI's Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Support risk identification and response to achieve business objectives
  • Manage and execute initiatives that support the components of the governance framework applying change management principles

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng) or equivalent
  • Experience in Shipbuilding, Manufacturing, Construction, or related field
  • ISO 9001 Certification an asset
  • Good technical aptitude, fast learner, and effective problem solver
