About the Role

GURDIP KAUR is seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring the children's needs are met and their safety is guaranteed.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Discipline children according to the parents' requested methods, maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, ensuring their medical and educational needs are met.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols and regulations.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their social and cognitive development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring the children's dietary needs are met.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, establishing a consistent sleep routine.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing individualized attention and support.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their transportation needs are met.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Assist children with homework, promoting their academic development and success.
  • Handle children weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs), adhering to all necessary safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational skills, ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting.
  • Permanent employment, working 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
