Job Title: Senior Telecommunication Engineer

Job Summary:

Spectrum Fibre Limited T/A Ogi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecommunication Engineer to join our team in South Wales. As a key member of our fibre installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of assigned fibre installations, working closely with our management team to resolve engineering obstacles, and ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all job-specific risk assessments and method statements
  • Carry out underground and overhead installations
  • Undertake small civils works
  • Work effectively and professionally with customers to deliver a quality, professional, friendly, and personable service

Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of fibre, including FTTP installation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive attitude in the resolution of engineering obstacles
  • Awareness and understanding of BT Openreach network and PIA
  • Network build understanding - ducts and poles, ability to read a plan drawing
  • NRSWA - unit 2 signing, lighting, and guarding
  • IPAF
  • S7 PIA Sub Duct and Cable Installation Underground
  • S8 PIA Cable Installation Overhead
