Bombardier Transportation GmbH: Senior Specialist Planning and Performance

As a Senior Specialist Planning and Performance, you will play a key role in driving our business forward by providing strategic guidance and technical expertise in planning and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate projects, including effort estimation, in coordination with other IT departments and external partners as needed.
  • Lead the creation of functional designs to improve or develop standard IT (Building Blocks) and services.
  • Translate needs into functional and technical requirements, ensuring completeness of system requirements in alignment with Bombardier Transportation GmbH strategy.
  • Oversee daily operations for assigned areas and monitor sustaining activities, projects, and levels of customer service.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in troubleshooting problems reported by end-users.
Requirements:
  • Typically, 5 or more years of professional IT experience in one of the IT functional areas, including previous IT project management experience.
  • Experience with Maximo solution as a subject matter expert or senior developer.
  • A proven track record in the successful implementation of Maintenance Management System (MMS).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a closely related field, or 3 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Ability to express technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign, and coordinate workload of team members within a multiple project setting.
