About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Brockville Barburrito. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are clean and sanitized for customer use.
  • Package take-out food for customers, ensuring it is presented attractively and safely.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, providing a welcoming and efficient service.
  • Take customers' orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, ensuring they are clean and safe for customer use.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing them for use in our menu items.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Handle heavy loads, including cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
