About the Role:

As a Caregiving Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. You will also provide support with medication administration and daily exercises, while monitoring your client's health status and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide support with meal preparation, household duties, and light cleaning tasks.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical well-being, such as exercise and hobbies.
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Canada.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare settings.
  • Strong communication skills and empathy towards clients.
  • Physical ability to perform lifting and supporting movements.
