Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Worker to join our team at Sphirea Plus in Halifax. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in the efficient handling, storing, and shipping of products.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload and load goods from trucks and containers with precision and care.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate tracking and storage.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed, meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and operations (forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Basic computer skills are a plus.
