- Financial Planning: Create comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies for clients, taking into account their risk tolerance, financial situation, and goals.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with Scotiabank's wealth management products and services, and provide expert advice to clients on the best options for their needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial planning and wealth management.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial planning and wealth management, with a strong track record of success.
- Education: University degree in business, commerce, or financial planning, and hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
- Licenses: IIROC licensed as a Registered Representative (IIROC-RR), including completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH).
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
