Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Willowbrae Childcare Academy. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing child-care programs that cater to the unique needs of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various forms of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians

Requirements:

  • Experience in early childhood education is an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
