We are seeking a highly skilled Glazier to join our team at Alberta Glass Company Inc. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing glass and aluminum products in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and institutional environments.

  • Install and repair glass and aluminum products, including windows, doors, and skylights
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures

  • 5 years or more of experience in the glazing trade
  • Glazier Red Seal Certificate
  • Glazier Trade Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Ability to work at heights and in a variety of weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
