Job Title: Addictions Therapist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Addictions Therapist to join our team at De Novo Treatment Centre. As an Addictions Therapist, you will work with clients to evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and patient outcomes, examine behaviour, and provide therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and patient outcomes
  • Examine behaviour
  • Interview clients, prepare case histories, and assess problems
  • Record observations
  • Write progress reports
  • Prepare a treatment plan for each patient
  • Provide therapy
  • Implement treatment plans
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Develop and implement counselling and intervention programs
  • Counsel clients, provide therapy, and facilitate group sessions
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Identify additional or alternative services and provide referrals

Requirements:

  • Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Electronic medical records
  • MS Excel
