About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements of equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field; experience with automated conveyor systems and controls a plus
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, including blueprint and electrical schematic reading
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other software applications
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices
