Simulator Technician

As a Simulator Technician at CAE, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our flight simulators. Your primary role will be to perform daily pre-training checks, complete corrective and preventive maintenance tasks, and review discrepancies to determine appropriate action. You will also be responsible for performing daily visual setup and calibration, as well as regulatory requirements such as QTGs for recurrent qualifications and pre-inspection checks. Additionally, you will brief and debrief flight crews on daily simulator status and make customer-specific configuration changes. If you have a strong background in aviation maintenance and a passion for ensuring the highest level of simulator performance, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-training checks to ensure simulator readiness
- Complete corrective and preventive maintenance tasks to maintain simulator performance
- Review discrepancies and determine appropriate action to clear discrepancy
- Perform daily visual setup and calibration to ensure accurate simulator performance
- Perform regulatory requirements such as QTGs for recurrent qualifications and pre-inspection checks
- Brief and debrief flight crews on daily simulator status
- Make customer-specific configuration changes to meet individual needs
