Job Description:
Vancouver Island Health Authority is seeking an experienced LPN to fill the position of Home Support CHW Supervisor. The successful candidate will oversee the coordination and delivery of home support services by supervising community health workers and providing training and evaluation.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to establish rapport with clients, and work collaboratively with others. They must also have the ability to assess and recognize changes in clients, plan, organize, and prioritize tasks, and operate related equipment.
In this role, the LPN will provide nursing care within the scope of their practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and employer policies. They will also perform assessments, implement, and provide personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting.
- Qualifications:
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
- Three years of recent, related acute, residential, or community care experience including one year of supervisory experience.
- Valid BC driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Benefits: As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $34.20 - $46.40 per hour and paid FTE. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment that prioritizes patient and staff safety.
