Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Pure Life Physiotherapy & Health Centre. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests and instruct patients on procedures, recording results and monitoring equipment.
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans under the direction of physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and rehabilitation programs.
  • Supervise technical and support staff, ensuring efficient and safe working practices.
  • Apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages, and maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation, adhering to standardized safety practices.
  • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs, selecting appropriate exercises and apparatus.
  • Maintain accurate clinical and progress reports, and process claims and paperwork.
  • Confer with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma in a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a physiotherapy setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
