Senior Backend Engineer

Sonatus is a leading innovator in the automotive technology space, driving the digital transformation of vehicles through its cutting-edge software solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team, playing a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing the backend systems that power our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using a variety of technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient backend solutions, driving innovation and technical excellence.
  • Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and serverless functions to ensure scalability and performance.
  • Optimize backend systems for speed, reliability, and scalability to handle large volumes of data and traffic.
  • Design, implement, and optimize database schemas for relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • ~5+ years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of building scalable and reliable systems.
  • Proficiency in backend programming languages, such as Java, Go, or Scala.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a commitment to delivering results on time.
