JobCart Inc is seeking a skilled Flagger to join our team for a road construction project in Brantford.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to control traffic with signs and direct construction crews to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control traffic with signs to keep construction crews safe
  • Alert construction crew about safety standards
  • Communicate with other flaggers to direct traffic
  • Remove debris, rubble, and other hazardous materials
  • Set up and remove barricades, traffic cones, and warning signs
  • Use hand signals to direct traffic
  • Ensure safe passage for pedestrians and vehicles
  • FOLLOW COMPANY SAFETY POLICIES/MAINTAIN A SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT

Requirements:

  • Traffic control person (flagger) training
  • Able to read, write, and follow instructions in English
  • Ability to work well with others
