Job Summary
Emergent BioSolutions is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Associate to support the production of pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GMP standards and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize equipment as required.
- Perform water sampling and EM sampling where required.
- Maintain the inventory of consumables in the cleanrooms.
- Follow all written procedures according to GMP standards.
- Assist in process activities with technicians when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist with competency assessments and training.
- Report to production supervisor on their designated shift.
Requirements:
- High school Diploma or equivalent is required; pharmaceutical manufacturing diploma is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience is an asset; Previous experience working in a regulated environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures, protocols, work instructions, and other policies/procedures is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a group environment or alone.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
- Knowledge or ability to learn pharmaceutical regulatory requirements is required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability and flexibility to adapt to and complete shift work including days, evenings and nights.
