We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Dania Care Services Limited Partnership. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:- Caregiving Tasks: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; supply and empty bed pans; take patients' vital signs; make beds and maintain patient rooms.
- Patient Safety and Well-being: Supervise patients' exercise routines, administer first aid in emergency situations, and answer call signals to determine residents' needs.
- Maintenance of Patient Rooms: Keep patient areas clean and tidy, ensure proper linen supply, and maintain accurate records of resident care.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate; No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training.
- Certification in First Aid.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a permanent, on-site position requiring standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be working in a nursing home/home for the aged setting, handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
