We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Drumroaster Coffee. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, as well as package take-out food.
- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and replenish condiments and supplies.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize floors, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and perform other housekeeping duties as needed.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Certifications: Food Safety Certificate.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Electronic cash register, grill.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, work under pressure.
- Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player.
- Workplace: Hybrid.
