About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer and Helper to join our team at The Greenhorizons Group of Farms Ltd. As a key member of our landscaping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a safe and visually appealing environment
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Lay sod or seed to create lush, green landscapes
  • Cut grass to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including the installation of irrigation systems and other features
  • Apply fertilizers and other treatments to promote healthy plant growth
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including forklifts and other machinery
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer and Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot, wet, and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Experience in construction or landscaping is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
