About the Role

BMO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planner to join our team. As a Financial Planner, you will play a key role in helping our customers achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice and guidance on financial planning and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide expert advice on investment products and services, including mutual funds, retirement savings plans, and other financial instruments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to provide innovative solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of financial services and products.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of the financial industry, including investment products and services.
  • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
