About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Food Service Supervisor to lead our restaurant team at Edo Japan. As a key member of our operations, you will oversee the daily activities of our staff and ensure that we maintain our high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen and dining staff to ensure seamless food preparation and delivery to our customers.
  • Train and mentor new hires to equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their roles.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as quality control standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets, including cost estimates and financial planning.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Create and implement work schedules that meet business needs and comply with labor laws.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A secondary school graduation certificate, preferably in a related field.
  • At least 1-7 months of experience in a similar supervisory or leadership position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in standing for extended periods, working under pressure, and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and teamwork are essential qualities for this role.
