Master Bricklayer

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Bricklayer to join our team at Fine Stone Works Ltd. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various masonry projects, including construction of residential and commercial buildings.

This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent physical stamina, as the job requires working at heights, lifting heavy materials, and standing for long periods.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units, as well as estimating materials and tools required for projects.

You will also need to read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials needed and work collaboratively with our team to complete projects efficiently.

• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units
• Estimate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects
• Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
• Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
• Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
• Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
• Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys
• Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks
• Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in masonry construction
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
• Reliability and strong teamwork skills
