Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Electrician to perform a variety of electrical tasks, including maintenance, installation, and repair. The successful candidate will work closely with our maintenance department teams to ensure seamless operations and provide a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A 2nd or 3rd year registered AIT apprentice Electrician certification
- 2-5 years of experience as an electrician performing electrical maintenance and installation in a resort environment
- Possess a high degree of initiative, creativity, communication skills, self-supervision, and respect for safety requirements
- Be a team player and work closely with maintenance, operations, engineering, and outside services when needed
- Have a flexible work schedule – overtime and weekends and schedule changes as required of this position especially during winter season
- Be proficient in fundamentals of lockout/tagout
- Have knowledge or ability to interpret the Canadian Electric Code and CSA Z-98 code
