At Bayshore HealthCare, we are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team as Clinical Pharmacology Specialists. As a key member of our infusion team, you will play a vital role in delivering and monitoring specialized pharmacological treatments in the comfort of patients' homes or clinics.

**Job Description**

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review personalized nursing care plans for each patient.
• Conduct thorough health assessments and provide medication administration teaching to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Obtain IV access through peripheral IV initiation or central line access, demonstrating expertise in managing complex vascular access devices.
• Prepare and administer various specialized intravenous or injectable pharmacological treatments, adhering to strict protocols and standards.
• Provide exceptional patient-centered care by utilizing observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, health teaching, and timely reporting of adverse events to supervisors or stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in performing routine nursing duties according to company policies, provincial body standards, and established care plans or medical directives.

**Requirements**

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing education program.
• Current registration with the provincial nursing regulatory body and good standing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for clinic roles.
• Prior experience in acute care and/or administering specialty pharmaceuticals is highly valued.
• Exceptional peripheral IV initiation skills, with experience with central lines (IVAD, PICC, etc.) being an asset.
