About This Role

Cloud Operations Automation Specialist

CAE is a leading provider of training solutions for the aviation industry, and we're looking for a skilled Cloud Operations Automation Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Operations Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in deploying and managing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are secure, scalable, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our architecture team to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet our business needs.
  • Build and maintain automation pipelines for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Work with our application team to ensure that our cloud-based applications are properly configured and deployed.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of our cloud strategy, including the evaluation and selection of cloud providers and services.
  • Collaborate with our security team to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for our cloud infrastructure, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in deploying, managing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
  • Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
