Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Provide occupational therapy services to clients of all ages with acute, rehabilitative, chronic or palliative health care needs.">
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.">
- Prescribe and recommend specialized and adaptive aids and equipment to enhance functional independence and occupational performance.">
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.">
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports statistics to accepted standards.">
Requirements
">The ideal candidate will have:
">- ">
- Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.">
- Two (2) years' recent, related clinical experience in a community or home health setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.">
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.">
- Demonstrated knowledge of current developments in occupational therapy, scope of practice of other healthcare disciplines, community resources, leadership, teaching skills, ability to work independently and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.">
