Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team at Brogan Safety Supplies. As a Fire Extinguisher Technician, you will be responsible for performing inspections and maintenance on portable fire extinguishers in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly and annual inspections on portable fire extinguishers and wheeled extinguishers to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Conduct six year break down and hydrostatic testing services on portable fire extinguishers and wheeled extinguishers as required.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels in mobile unit to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Fill all types and sizes of nitrogen cylinders and extinguisher cylinders as required.
  • Repair or replace equipment as needed to bring it into compliance with industry standards.
  • Create and maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, driving logs, equipment inspections, daily invoices, timesheets, flow tests, and Building Reports inspections.
  • Obtain payment information from clients as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • First Aid and H2S certification.
  • Other industry training as required by client demand or hazards present.
  • Certification of training through a recognized training institute.
  • Class 5 Driver's License.
