Debur Technician

The estimated hourly salary for this position in Ontario is between $41,000 and $61,000 per hour.

We are seeking a skilled Deburrer to join our team in Oakville, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for grinding and/or polishing parts to remove burrs and grinds, as required by customer drawing specifications.

The Deburrer will visually inspect parts for burrs and imperfections, set up and use hand tools to remove burrs from machined parts, and maintain equipment and supplies as needed.

• Carefully remove any burrs left from CNC machining in components and sub-assemblies.
• Use material handling equipment to carefully move components from station to station.
• Complete sub-assembly testing, cleaning, and marking as required.
• Interact closely with the Quality Control department to validate that all components produced are 100% specification.
• Take immediate and appropriate action whenever a deviation or non-conformance is identified.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working as a deburrer or assembler in the nuclear, aerospace, or defense industries.
• Strong aptitude to learn new skills.
• Highly dexterous with extreme attention to detail.
• Adaptable team player with good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently to complete assignments promptly while maintaining high standards.
• Certified forklift and crane training is an asset.
