The Client Central technology team is a key part of our Global Technology Applications (GTA) team, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge solutions to support our customers.
We're seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our big data ecosystem, leveraging GCP, Hadoop, and other technologies.
As a member of our team, you'll work closely with our technology professionals to analyze complex business requirements and transform them into robust technical specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing effective solutions to support client data processing, reporting, and analytics.
- Working within our big data ecosystem to design and deliver complex software components and applications.
- Collaborating with our dynamic, agile development team to build a high-performing team in an inclusive work environment.
- Effectively contributing to and collaborating with partner BA, QA, and business teams.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of relevant software development and IT industry work experience, with a focus on big data technologies.
- Disciplined development methodology and hands-on experience in design, development, and successful deployment of large-scale projects.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on working experience in Django frameworks and experience with a wide spectrum of big data technologies, including Hive, Spark, HQL, Spark, SQL, Hadoop/HDFS.
- Practical expertise using agile delivery with deep understanding of core agile concepts, and continuous delivery and deployment methodologies.
