Production Employee - Canada

Shift Schedule: Must be able to work all shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and report any safety, quality, or operational concerns to the team lead or appropriate resource.
  • Make safe decisions and take well-thought-out actions to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform tasks to preset efficiency and required quality levels, adhering to proven practices once trained.
  • Set up and operate various CNC and manual machines, including Mills, Lathes, Grinders, Presses, Cold Isostatic Press, Drybag Machine, Saws, and custom automated machines.
  • Safely operate support equipment, such as Forklifts, Cranes, and various Lifts.
  • Build and break down Sintering furnace heats.
  • Take metallurgical measurements (Hc & MS) of sintered product.
  • Prepare sintering furniture, including cleaning and painting Plugs and Trays.
  • Create Non-Conformance Reports and determine remedial action.
  • Measure and inspect parts according to blueprint specifications.
  • Accurately record production information, including good and scrap pieces, order #, powder grade, and quantity issued.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
