Job Title: Grocery Store Cashier

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Grocery Store Cashier to join our team at Coop de Saint-Louis. As a Grocery Store Cashier, you will be responsible for operating a cash register, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process payments accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding environment
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or cash handling experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
