FjordAl Aluminium inc. is seeking a skilled Welder Apprentice to join our team in metal fabrication and welding. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including brakes, shears, and metal shaping machines
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet quality and safety standards
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train on the job
  • English or French language proficiency
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
